We are currently experiencing connectivity problems for our Wireless Business Broadband and legacy Wireless customers in the Weston Road area of Scotts Valley. Cruzio techs are actively working on resolving connectivity problems. These problems will only affect our Wireless customers in the Weston Road area. We will update this status as we have more information.
Update 10:30am – We have Cruzio techs rolling out to the Weston area to do some troubleshooting on the link. More updates as they come in.
Update 1:00pm – Our Cruzio techs have reported back that there was a damaged cable causing intermittent power availability for the Weston area. Our techs have repaired the cable and verified connectivity for all of our Weston Road customers. As of this update all wireless customers in Weston Road are back up and running.

The Account Center may be down for a couple of hours while some upgrade maintenance is performed on our billing server.
Customer tickets will also be down, but this just means any submissions or emails sent in will be queued up until the service is put back online. Since staff won’t be responding to them until morning, this should not have any effect on anyone.

All affected customers off of our South-facing access point on top of the University Town Center building should be online again. An access point failed, and has been replaced. We aappologize for the inconvenience.
9/22/14 @10:20am – Downtown Business Broadband Access Point Issues (University Town Center South-facing Access Point)
We are currently experiencing issues with one of our Business Broadband wireless access points. Customers who are connected to our south-facing access point on top of the University Town Center building in Downtown Santa Cruz will be affected. Our network engineers are actively working to resolve the issue.
At 9:30pm on Friday 9/19/14 web hosting server host6 encountered an issue that necessitated a reboot.
The reboot has completed successfully and all systems are up and operational. Any queued mail will be sent shortly.

As of 10:27am, customers on our AT&T based DSL service are experiencing a localized outage. This affects customers in the greater Santa Cruz area, we have an ETA for service restoration of 1:30pm. We will post any relevant updates as we get them.
UPDATE 1:45pm – All services are confirmed to be up and operational, if you still are without service please turn off your DSL equipment for 5 seconds and then turn it back on. Give it 2-3 minutes to re-sync.
All Enterprise Business Broadband customers on the Weston POP are currently down. Our technicians are en route to resolve the problem. There is no ETA for restoration of service.
UPDATE: As of 3:40pm service was restored to all Weston Business Broadband customers. We apologize for the downtime and thank you for your patience and understanding.
There has been a weather-related power outage with one of the main wireless infrastructure links leading to the Weston neighborhood. Customers with wireless connections in the Weston area are currently experiencing an outage due to this, and our field techs are currently on their way to fix the problem.
We are expecting this to be a simple fix, and for wireless service to be quickly restored.
