How do I choose a dialup number?

Choose a phone number with the same prefix as the one at your dialup location.

• If you don't see a number with the same prefix:

  Call a telephone operator. Ask the operator which numbers on the list are toll-free from your dialup location.

• If there are no phone numbers listed for your search:

  Search again with the search form, but leave the city blank. You may even leave the area code blank. Choose the state, and click Get Number. This will show you all the dialup access numbers in the entire area code or state.

How do I make sure I won't get phone company charges?

• Choose a dialup number with a prefix (the first 3 digits of the 7-digit phone number) that matches your dialup location.
• Call a telephone operator. Ask the operator whether the dialup number you want to use is toll-free from your dialup location.

Please choose carefully. If you select a number that isn't toll-free, then you, not Cruzio, are responsible for phone company charges.
