As of January 4th 2017 at 4:50 pm Cruzio engineers are currently looking into an issue affecting our primary and secondary fiber backhauls, and we are currently running over a wireless backup system. While on this wireless backup, Wireless Pro, Enterprise, and Colocation customers will experience impacted speeds. This will not affect Velocity, DSL, or dial up customers. We will post an updated message as more information becomes available.

The issue with Legacy DSL customers unable to acquire new network leases has been resolved.

Customers with the “Legacy DSL” access service may currently experience issues with being issued a dynamic IP address lease from some of our servers. This would cause the customer to not be able to get online.

This has been repaired. All wireless pro services are back to normal functionality.

Due to a Cruzio equipment failure, there is currently a section of our Wireless Pro coverage that is down. Cruzio technicians are actively working on a solution this morning.
This does not affect velocity or dsl customers, only Wireless Pro customers in the east side Santa Cruz and Live Oak areas.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we’ll update this as soon as we have more info.
11/29/2017 5:00am RESOLVED – Downtown Power Outage
PG&E power in the Downtown Santa Cruz area has been restored as of around 5am this morning 11/29. No significant downtown occurred, other than for individual Wireless Pro customers whose power went out.

Due to a major power outage in the downtown area, some of Cruzio’s main Wireless Pro distribution points are running on back up battery power.
As of this writing, no services should be affected (unless your own customer premises power is out.)
We have technicians ready to deploy to our distribution centers if the power is not restored.

This evening around 6pm power was lost for parts of downtown Santa Cruz, including one of our main point of distribution nods. While our networking equipment is on backup power, some customers may have experienced downtime during the switch to redundant power. Power was restored to the majority of downtown around 9:00pm, including all major Cruzio infrastructure. We apologize for any inconvenience.
