PG&E is still having power issues in the area, though this may effect customers in areas with power. Engineers are en route to replace equipment that will circumvent the power issues.

10/01/2018 10:45AM – [RESOLVED] Certified Broadband outage at 1205 Pacific
The sporadic connectivity issues for customers at 1205 Pacific has been resolved.
10/01/2018 09:45AM – Certified Broadband outage at 1205 Pacific
Cruzio engineers will be replacing equipment at 1205 Pacific in Downtown Santa Cruz to resolve an issue with sporadic packet loss. This will cause a few moments of downtime to customers with Certified Broadband connectivity in that building. This maintenance will be completed by 11:00AM.
9/24/18 3:30pm – RESOLVED Velocity outage for some customers
Our upstream provider’s hardware failure has been repaired, and all Velocity circuits should be surfing at this time. If you are unable to surf, please try power cycling your equipment. Thanks for your patience.

We are investigating reports of a hardware failure in our upstream provider’s data center. This equipment serves some of our Velocity customers, and will not affect other services such as Wireless Pro. We will update this message as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience.

As of Monday, 9/24/18 at 12:45am, some legacy DSL customers may be affected by emergency maintenance that is being performed by our upstream DSL provider. This emergency maintenance is expected to last several hours. This maintenance will not affect other services, including Velocity or Wireless Pro. We appreciate your patience.
