What happens when an email is returned because relaying was denied?
After you send an email message, you immediately receive a message in your inbox titled Undeliverable: ‘Your Subject Title’. The message looks something like this:
From: System Administrator Sent: Friday, July 31, 2009 11:02 AM To: Cruzio Subject: Undeliverable: Email Subject Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. What are some possible solutions?
- Make sure you have the correct outgoing port, 587, set in your mail program (Outgoing Mail Port Setup for Mac, Outgoing Mail Port Setup for Windows).
- If have a Cruzio-hosted email address, make sure your outgoing mail settings are correct.
- Try sending your message:
If you have Cruzio mail, log in by going to cruzio.com and clicking the envelope icon in the upper right corner.
If you have Cruzio Domain Email, use your webmail at http://webmail.yourdomain.com.
If you have Classic Email, use your webmail at http://www.yourdomain.com/_webmail.
If the above solutions do not work, there may be a problem with your recipient’s email server settings. You may wish to contact the person you were trying to email, and ask them to check their email server settings with their email provider.
If none of these solutions work, contact Cruzio Tech Support for help.
