In addition to webmail access, POP, IMAP and SMTP functionality have been restored for domains on host 5. There is no ETA for other down services on host 5 at this time. No email has been lost during the downtime.
2/27/2018 3am – Host5 Down UPDATE
Web hosting server host5 has suffered a catastrophic failure. Currently mail is coming in but is not able to be retrieved. Database driven websites, control panel, and webmail are also currently not working. Engineers are still working to restore services, but do not yet have an ETA.
2/26/2018 10:30pm – Host5 down
Web hosting server host5 (host5.cruzio.com) has been taken down briefly for some emergency repairs. This should only effect customers with web hosting services on host5. Any mail sent while the server is down will be queued up and delivered once services are restored.
2/23/2018 3:15PM – Brief network-wide outage
Between 3:13 and 3:15PM on Friday, Feb 23th Cruzio network experienced a brief network-wide outage.
Cruzio engineers are currently looking into the issue.
1-31-18 12:00am – Velocity maintenance window for Santa Cruz and Aptos
Tonight at midnight our upstream provider will be performing maintenance on hardware that serves Velocity customers in Aptos and the city of Santa Cruz. This maintenance window will last between midnight and 4am, and total downtime is expected to last 10 minutes. Velocity customers in other areas should not be affected by this maintenance.
1-30-18 3:30pm – Legacy DSL outage in the Boulder Creek area
As of Tuesday, January 30th 2018 at 3:30pm, there is an outage affecting some legacy DSL circuits in the Boulder Creek area. AT&T is currently investigating the issue and working to resolve the problem. AT&T has provided a tentative estimated time of repair of 24 hours.
Customers affected by this issue can stop by the Cruzio office downtown with their portable devices and obtain free 9 to 5 CruzioWorks day passes to utilize our fiber-backed co-working facility.

As of Monday, January 22nd 2018 at 2:00pm, there is currently an outage affecting legacy DSL circuits in the Boulder Creek area.
This outage is due to a hardware failure on AT&T’s equipment, and AT&T is working to repair the issue. AT&T has provided us with a revised estimated time of repair, and they expect to complete their repair by Tuesday, January 23rd.
