Cruzio Internet will be performing a scheduled maintenance on our core network routers on Tuesday, March 10th at 12:15AM.
We anticipate the downtime to last 1 to 5 minutes as we switch over to newer hardware.

– Enterprise wireless customers in downtown Santa Cruz, Seabright, Live Oak, and Capitola
– Colocation customers at 877 Cedar
– In-building offices and coworking space at 877 Cedar
– VPS customers
– Hosted websites
– Cruzio email accounts
We will be doing some maintenance on the distribution equipment for our Business Broadband customers in the Live Oak and Soquel area. This maintenance will only affect Business Broadband customers in the Live Oak and Soquel areas. The window for this maintenance is as follows:
Start: Tuesday 3/10/15 – 1:00pm
End: Tuesday 3/10/15 – 4:00pm
We anticipate downtime will be less than 30 mins but could be up to an hour. This maintenance is to balance out usage on our distribution equipment and should yield an improvement in service for most customers.

Web hosting server host4 is being rebooted to for an emergency disk repair and should be back up very shortly. We are currently experiencing interruptions in service for our wireless Business Broadband customers with connections fed from the University Town Center building in Downtown Santa Cruz. The symptoms are intermittent packet loss and interruption of service.
We are scheduled to visit the University Town Center building tomorrow morning at 10:00am to investigate and make any necessary repairs.

Due to inclement weather we had an interruption of service to our Broadband customers on the Westside area of Santa Cruz. Service to these areas are feed from one of our mountain tops and the rains are interfering with the signal. Services expected to return to normal after the storm passes. This only affected our Business Broadband customers in the Westside area.
While on-site, Cruzio techs identified a problem with a power supply at the Weston West broadcast site. The faulty equipment was replaced and service was restored to all affected customers. However, just as the tech were returning to the office Broadband was down again. They are headed back out to investigate.
Our technicians are in route to determine the cause of the outage. We will update as soon as we receive more information.
Our technicians are aware of the issue and are investigating the issue. Currently customers fed from the West portion of Weston Rd. are experiencing an outage, we will post updates as soon as we get them. We apologize for the inconvenience. This issue only pertains to our business broadband customers on Weston Rd., all other systems are up and operational.
