The Westside Santa Cruz outage has been resolved as of 1:30AM, pre-day light saving time switch over. The previous report of a building-wide PG&E outage was unfortunately incorrect. We discovered that one of the power ports that one of this site’s primary network components was plugged into had gone bad, so we were able to migrate power over to a new working circuit. That faulty circuit has been flagged for future maintenance during business hours.
Wireless internet services should be fully restored to all Westside customers.
Wireless internet customers on the westside of Santa Cruz are currently down due to a PG&E power failure at the building that provides the upstream for the neighborhood. We will update when PG&E provides more information as to when the power will be restored.

This issue only pertains to our business broadband customers on Weston Rd., all other systems are up and operational.
Host 7 is now back up and services restored. Any mail sent during this short period should be delivered within a couple of minutes. Thank you for your patience.
To clear up a stuck process we are rebooting host7. This should only effect customers on web hosting server host7. All mail will be queued up and delivered once the server comes back online. This process should only take a few minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We found some faulty equipment that needs to be replaced. A temporary link has been set up to allow internet access over the weekend. It won’t be as fast, but it will keep things going until the regular equipment can be repaired this week. We apologize for the inconvenience and will be posting again when the equipment is fixed as there may be a short period of downtime while swapping out equipment.
There is an outage at our POP in Weston that feeds wireless customers on the West side of Weston. We are investigating to determine if this is a power outage or a device has failed. PG&E is not showing any reports of power failures at the moment.
Engineering worked hard to restore a failed hard disk in our @cruzio email server. The great news is no email was lost during this time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, have a great weekend!
