Cruzio engineers will be performing emergency network maintenance that may impact our fiber customers. We don’t anticipate much if any downtime during this period but want to alert customers in case any problems arise during the procedure.
10/29/2019 10:50PM – Network-wide outage [RESOLVED]
Between 9:15PM and 9:38PM, an issue with our core routers caused service-impacting disruption to many Cruzio customers with Fiber, Wireless, Certified, Dedicated, and Enterprise access services.
This was resolved for the majority of customers at 9:38PM. For Fiber Broadband, Cruzioworks, and customers with Dedicated access service specifically located at 877 Cedar St., service was restored at 10:40PM.
At this time all services have been restored. If you are still experiencing connectivity issues please contact our technical support.

10/28/2019 – 5:45PM Cruzio Response to the PG&E Power Outages [UPDATE]
All Cruzio’s main wireless distribution sites are currently powered. Cruzio Certified buildings affected by the power event will remain without internet until power is restored.
10/28/2019 – 3:00PM Cruzio Response to the PG&E Power Outages [UPDATE]
Mains power has been restored to the equipment that serves Live Oak, and power has also been restored to the equipment that serves the Weston West area.
Cruzio engineers are monitoring our infrastructure and will continue to mitigate against downtime with backup power solutions, but some downtime is possible during extended power outages.

PG&E service has not yet been restored to this area. Cruzio engineers have deployed a generator to power this equipment.

PG&E service has been restored to the equipment that serves the Harvey West area.
10/27/2019 10:00PM – PG&E related outage in Harvey West area
Due to the PG&E related power outage, the networking equipment that serves customers with Wireless and Certified Broadband access in the Harvey West area of Santa Cruz is currently offline. A generator will be deployed on Monday morning to restore customer service.
10/27/2019 9:30PM – PG&E related outage in Weston Road area of Scotts Valley
Due to the PG&E related power outage, the networking equipment that serves customers with Wireless Broadband access in the Weston Road area of Scotts Valley is currently offline. The generator that powers this equipment is expected to be restarted on Monday morning.
10/27/2019 8:00PM – PG&E related outage in Live Oak areas [UPDATE]
Due to the PG&E related power shut off, customers with Wireless, Certified, Dedicated and Enterprise access service in the Live Oak area will experience sporadic downtime throughout this evening as batteries / UPSes are swapped to keep the networking equipment live.
