The PG&E downtime estimate has been extended past the initial estimated time of one hour, and Cruzio technicians are en-route to provide additional battery backup power to the equipment at this site.
4/24/20 9:40AM – Wireless Pro maintenance window scheduled for customers in Watsonville on April 28th from 10PM to 2AM
Cruzio engineers have scheduled a service-impacting maintenance window to the networking equipment that serves customers in the Watsonville area of Santa Cruz county.
This is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at 10:00 PM and will last until Wednesday, April 29th at 2:00 AM. Customer downtime is expected to be no more than 1-2 minutes during the length of this maintenance window.
This will affect customers with Certified, Wireless, and Dedicated Broadband access services. This will not affect Velocity or DSL services.
4/22/20 6:15PM – PG&E maintenance window for Wireless Pro customers near Harvey West on 4/24 4:30pm through 4/24 7:30pm [UPDATE]
The PG&E maintenance window has been extended to 4/24 from 4:30pm through 7:30pm. Cruzio does not expect for there to be any downtime as our equipment is powered by battery backup units, but there is a possibility that service could be temporarily interrupted if PG&E’s maintenance takes longer than estimated.
4/21/20 6:30PM – PG&E maintenance window for Wireless Pro customers near Harvey West on 4/24 4:30pm through 4/24 5:30pm
PG&E will be conducting maintenance in the area that powers Cruzio equipment that serves wireless customers in the Harvey West area. Cruzio has battery backup power in place for this maintenance, but there is a chance that an extended maintenance window could temporarily disrupt service for these customers.
Cruzio Data Center work – 4/14 and 4/15 all day
Cruzio engineering and a Cruzio vendor will be working in the data center at 877 Cedar on Tuesday 4/14 and Wednesday 5/15 to install a new primary UPS (uninterruptable power supply). We don’t anticipate any downtime or issues with this installation, but there will be people working in the space for most of both days
4/13/20 11:15AM – Wireless Pro maintenance window scheduled for customers in Live Oak and East Side Santa Cruz on April 14th from 10PM to 1AM
Some Wireless Pro and Dedicated customers in Live Oak and the East Side of Santa Cruz may experience a few brief periods of downtime during our maintenance scheduled for 4/14/20 between 10PM and 1AM. These periods of downtime will be brief.
Host8 server software upgrade completed 4/7/2019 at 11:10pm
Cruzio engineering has completed the planned software upgrade on our host8.cruzio.com domain server. All services are working as expected.
4/6/2020 12:45PM – Maintenance window scheduled for Wireless and Dedicated customers off Weston Road on 4/8/2020 between 10AM and 1PM
Cruzio engineers will be performing maintenance on equipment that serves the Weston Road area with Wireless Pro and Dedicated service. The maintenance window will be from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday, April 8th, but the downtime itself will be brief.
4/04/20 2:45PM – Service interruptions for Cruzio Emails [RESOLVED]
Cruzio email customers may not be able to pull any new mail, send new mail, or access webmail. There is no ETA at this time, but engineers are working on the problem. This issue is not affecting customers with hosting email accounts. We will update this status message when we have further information.
Update: This is resolved. As of 2:45 PM, engineers have resolved the problem and all affected customers should be able to send and receive email.
