One of our web hosting servers, Host7, needs to be rebooted due to a stuck process. This will only affect customers with domains on Host7, and should only last a few minutes. We appreciate your patience. This status will be updated upon completion. Thank you for your patience.
Fiber crews have located and repaired the break in the fiber as of Friday 11-19
All service should be restored to normal expected speeds.
Cruzio network engineers have identified a problem with our upstream connection out to the internet, due to a cut/break in our fiber. Customers are currently on our backup wireless connection.
If you are currently experiencing much slower than expected download speeds, it is most likely a current issue with Cruzio’s connection to the internet and not a localized problem with your own radio or equipment.
We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.
Customers that are affected:
– Enterprise and Business Broadband wireless and in-building customers in the Santa Cruz, Seabright, Live Oak, Scotts Valley, Capitola, Aptos, and Watsonville areas
– Colocation customers at 877 Cedar
– Cruzioworks coworking and office customers at 877 Cedar
Customers that will not be affected:
– Enterprise and Business Broadband wireless customers in the San Jose / South Bay areas
– All Velocity customers
– All DSL customers
– All dial-up customers

Cruzio engineers have deployed a temporary fix for this issue, to restore customer connectivity to the affected areas.
There may be additional brief downtime (less than 1 minute) later today as we implement a permanent solution.

If you are currently experiencing loss of connectivity, it is most likely a current issue with Cruzio’s connection to the internet and not a localized problem with your own radio or equipment.

Fiber crews have located the general area of the fiber outage and working to locate and pinpoint the break.
Fiber inspection teams are currently on route to locate the fiber cut and repair the connection.
