PG&E is experiencing a power outage in the downtown Santa Cruz area. This could result in temporary outages for some customers in the Santa Cruz and Live Oak areas. Currently PG&E estimates the power to be restored by 4:15pm so we don’t anticipate much down time if any, but want to notify everyone in case.

If you are currently experiencing much slower than expected download speeds, it is most likely a current issue with Cruzio’s connection to the internet and not a localized problem with your own radio or equipment.
We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.
Customers that are affected:
– Enterprise and Business Broadband wireless and in-building customers in the Santa Cruz, Seabright, Live Oak, Scotts Valley, Capitola, Aptos, and Watsonville areas
– Colocation customers at 877 Cedar
– Cruzioworks coworking and office customers at 877 Cedar
Customers that will not be affected:
– All Velocity customers
– All DSL customers
– All dial-up customers
12/05/2015 @ 9:50AM – Wireless Network Outage [RESOLVED]
PG&E has resolved the power issues at the University Town Center, that was affecting Cruzio’s UPS/batteries for our wireless networking equipment.
There will be an additional short downtime between 10:15AM-10:30AM as we return equipment to the original configuration. This downtime should be less than 2 minutes.
12/05/2015 7:30am – Wireless Network Outage
Cruzio is currently experiencing a network outage due to a power failure at the Universal Town center which feeds several of our sites. PG&E has been dispatched to make repairs at the location and estimates the work to be completed by 9:15am. In the meantime there could be possible connection losses at some of the Cruzio POPs in the Santa Cruz area. Engineers are on site to address issues as they come up while PG&E is working on the issue. We will be updating this status when we have more information.
11/24/2015 6:45am – host6 Emergency Maintenance Finished
All repairs and backups for web hosting server host6.cruzio.com have been completed. Any mail sent to domains on this server have been queued up and are being delivered now if not already. This should only have effected customers with web hosting services on host6. Thank you for your patience.
11/24/2015 3am – host6 emergency maintenance update.
We have finished with hardware replacement and are now just transferring data to the new hardware. We estimate this should be complete by approximately 5:30am. We will be posting updates if it starts to look like it may take longer. Again, any mail sent during this time will be queued up and delivered once we bring the serve back online so no mail will be lost. Thank you for your patience.

Web hosting server host6.cruzio.com is experiencing a hardware issue. We are currently taking the server down to make repairs. Any mail sent during this down time will be queued up and delivered once the service is back up. No mail will be lost in the process. We will be updating the network status as we have more information or complete the work. This will only effect customer who have web hosting services on host6.
