3/19/2017 10:35pm [UPDATE] – Fiber Outage causing unexpected low speeds / packet loss
The issues affecting Cruzio customers on our wireless network have been isolated to a problem with our primary upstream network provider. Their engineers have acknowledged the problem and are working to restore functionality. There is currently no ETA for a resolution.
In the meantime Cruzio Internet traffic has been routed over our redundant backup system; and we will continue to update this status as more information becomes available. We thank you for your patience.

Traffic on our wireless network has switched over to our redundant backup system. Customers will see lower than expected speed and/or sporadic packet loss until the issue with our primary fiber connection is resolved.

Cruzio engineers are currently looking into an issue with our primary fiber connection for customers with Enterprise and Business Broadband services in the Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Watsonville areas.
This will affect customers with Colocation, Enterprise, Business Broadband, Dedicated Business Broadband and Cruzioworks services. Velocity, DSL, and dial-up customers are not affected.

3/16/2017 1:30am – [RESOLVED] Wireless Outage in Watsonville, Scotts Valley, East San Jose, and Oakland Road Area
Wireless Engineers have resolved the issue as of 1:30am this morning and full connectivity to our customers in the affected areas has been restored. We thank you for your patience.

There is currently a wireless outage at one of our wireless sites affecting customers in Watsonville, Scotts Valley, East San Jose, and Oakland Road area. This outage only affect Cruzio customers on the Business Broadband and Enterprise networks in these areas; customers with Velocity or DSL connections are not affected. Engineers are investigating the cause of the outage. This status will be added to as we receive updates. Thank you for your patience.
8:55am 3/10/17 – Host6 being rebooted
Due to a stuck process we are rebooting web hosting server host6.cruzio.com. This should only effect customers with web hosting service on this server. Any mail sent during this time will be queued up and delivered once service is restored.

Web hosting server host2.cruzio.com is now back up and all services are restored. Any mail sent during this down time has been queued up and will be delivered shortly, if not already. Thank you for your patience. Happy Monday everyone!

A technician is in route to our Data Center to reboot Web hosting server host2.cruzio.com. Services are expected to be up by 8:30am. . This will only effect web hosting customers with
services on host2. Email will be queued up and delivered once the services are restored. We apologize for any inconvenience and will post an update as soon as services are restored on host2.

Field crews for our upstream provider have repaired the break in our fiber line as of 4:00pm this afternoon 2/22/17. Internet performance should be back to normal for all affected customers. Thank you for your patience.
