As a further result of the secondary mailbox server outage of November 1st, mail forwarding and spam filtering settings were lost for all @skyhighway.com and @rattlebrain.com mailboxes.
Spam filter settings have been reset to defaults, and mail forwarding will need to be re-enabled if desired. In addition, as mentioned previously, we have been forced to reset passwords on these mailboxes as well.
To adjust spam filtering or re-enable forwarding, log into your @skyhighway.com or @rattlebrain.com mailbox and use the tools under “Settings” in the left navigation bar.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and please let us know if you encounter any further issues with these mailboxes.
This issue has been resolved, and our customer support phone line at 831-459-6301 is once again available.
We are currently experiencing an analog phone lines outage, including Cruzio’s own customer support line 831-459-6301.
We are currently working with our analog phone provider on this issue.
Cruzio’s fiber backhaul was repaired as of 5AM this morning. Bandwidth speeds should be as expected now.
Cruzio’s upstream fiber provider have identified the fiber break, and have crews dispatched to repair it.
Estimated time of full service / speed restoration is early morning tomorrow, Monday 11/14.
As of 4:55pm our sysadmin team has determined the issue with our Scotts Valley equipment, and all connectivity to Scotts Valley customers, including the ETC building, should be back to normal.
Note: we are still working on the larger scale fiber outage, which may also be affecting business broadband speeds. But at this time, all business broadband customers should be able to connect to the internet.
Around 4:25pm Cruzio technicians discovered an issue with the radio equipment that connects our main building over to the Scott’s Valley area. This will only affect business broadband customers in the Scott’s valley area, including the ETC building.
Our sysadmin team is in route now to fix this issue, and should be able to replace the faulty equipment within the hour. We apologize for any inconvenience, thank you.
Our sysadmin team has confirmed that the slow speeds are in fact caused by a fiber outage. Fortunately, all of Cruzio’s backup links are functioning properly. This means that although speeds may be slower, all affected customers should still be able to connect to the internet.
We are working to have this resolved by 9am tomorrow morning. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Cruzio engineers are currently looking into an issue with our primary fiber connection for customers with Enterprise and Business Broadband services in the Santa Cruz area. This may be due to a fiber cut.
Customers are currently on our backup connection, and customers will see slower than normal speeds until this is resolved. We will update this as soon as we can.
