PG&E is still working to restore electrical service to our Mt. Loma mountaintop site and Cruzio engineers estimate our battery backups will last approximately another hour.
Due to weather conditions and damage to the rural roads Cruzio engineers are not currently able to reach the site safely. We will continue to monitor the situation, and if PG&E has not restored electrical service by the morning, Cruzio engineers will re-assess accessing the site.
Cruzio engineers have reached the mountaintop site and refilled our generators. Affected customers are back online, however, access to the mountaintop site may not be possible after 5PM due to safety and access issues. We will continue to update this status as further information becomes available.
Service for customers fed from our Loma Prieta mountaintop site, including some customers in Gilroy, are experiencing a service issue due to an extended PG&E outage draining the backup power at the site. Due to storm damage the site is difficult to access, but Cruzio engineers anticipate reaching the location in approximately the next 30 minutes. Cruzio engineers are rolling out to repair a hardware issue affecting connectivity for customers in the area of San Gregorio.

Customers in the area of Weston West are experiencing a service issue. Cruzio engineers will be able to access the site in the morning and will assess and repair the issue.
Many areas of the county have had power and internet service restored, but some customers in the area of Harvey West are still without internet service due to a hardware failure upstream. Field crews estimate to have repairs complete tomorrow morning.
Due to a widespread PG&E outage throughout the City and some parts of the County of Santa Cruz, connectivity will be impacted for some customers. Cruzio engineers are monitoring infrastructure sites throughout our network, and affected customers will come back online as local power is restored in their area.
