2/26/2023 7:50PM – Loma Prieta mountaintop outage [UPDATE]

PG&E is still working to restore electrical service to our Mt. Loma mountaintop site and Cruzio engineers estimate our battery backups will last approximately another hour.

Due to weather conditions and damage to the rural roads Cruzio engineers are not currently able to reach the site safely. We will continue to monitor the situation, and if PG&E has not restored electrical service by the morning, Cruzio engineers will re-assess accessing the site.

2/26/2023 10:15AM – Loma Prieta mountaintop outage

Service for customers fed from our Loma Prieta mountaintop site, including some customers in Gilroy, are experiencing a service issue due to an extended PG&E outage draining the backup power at the site. Due to storm damage the site is difficult to access, but Cruzio engineers anticipate reaching the location in approximately the next 30 minutes. We will update this message as additional information becomes available.

2/21/2023 5:50PM – Power outages affecting connectivity for downtown Santa Cruz and some areas of the County

Due to a widespread PG&E outage throughout the City and some parts of the County of Santa Cruz, connectivity will be impacted for some customers. Cruzio engineers are monitoring infrastructure sites throughout our network, and affected customers will come back online as local power is restored in their area. We will update this message as more information becomes available.
