Cruzio and Dry/Naked DSL Cruzio’s DSL service requires an existing AT&T phone line to run over. The DSL service itself does not require that there be an active phone service on the phone line. Doing without that service is known as dry or naked DSL. 2015-09-10 10:20AM – Wireless network outage in mid-town Santa Cruz
…d a problem with a wireless access point that affected 23 customers in the mid-town (east Santa Cruz & Live Oak) area from 10:20-10:50AM. This only affected Business Broadband wireless Cruzio customers, and not Enterprise, Velocity, or DSL. We are scheduling emergency maintenance to replace this access point, which will affect a larger group of 42 people fed from this same site. This maintenance will happen between 11AM to 1PM today, 9/10….

…Cruzio engineers have isolated the issue to a cut fiber line, and repair teams have been dispatched. We do not have an estimated time of resolution. Velocity and DSL customers should not be affected. We appreciate your patience….
