Some customers in the lower downtown Santa Cruz area with Wireless, Certified, Dedicated, and Enterprise access service will see a brief downtime as we cycle batteries in response to last week’s PG&E outages.

As of 5:30pm mains electrical service has been restored by PG&E to the remaining affected sites, and all Cruzio network infrastructure is up and operational at this time. Thank you for your patience.
10/10/2019 6:00PM – Cruzio Response to the PG&E Power Outages [UPDATE]
As of 10/10 @ 6pm, PG&E Power cuts have left the Weston Road area without power. Cruzio service has been maintained with generators. This power may not be maintained all night, but generator power will be restored in the morning if PG&E have not restored mains service at that time.
All other previously affected areas, including Harvey West, Midtown/Live Oak and the Westside have had their mains electrical service restored, and all Cruzio internet services for those areas are up and operational.

The networking equipment that provides customers in the Santa Cruz County area with Wireless and Certified access services has lost power due to PG&E rolling power outages.
We have field technicians ready to cycle power between battery redundancies throughout the day, however there will be customer impacting downtime during these events. We will update this network status message with new information as we receive it.
This will not affect customers with DSL and Velocity access services.
Affected areas:
Midtown Santa Cruz and Live Oak: Cruzio Infrastructure teams are managing power to keep service interruptions to a minimum This area should remain up with minimal interruptions as we switch between redundant power sources.
