10/10/2019 6:00PM – Cruzio Response to the PG&E Power Outages [UPDATE]

As of 10/10 @ 6pm, PG&E Power cuts have left the Weston Road area without power. Cruzio service has been maintained with generators. This power may not be maintained all night, but generator power will be restored in the morning if PG&E have not restored mains service at that time.

All other previously affected areas, including Harvey West, Midtown/Live Oak and the Westside have had their mains electrical service restored, and all Cruzio internet services for those areas are up and operational.

10/10/2019 11:00AM – Cruzio Response to the PG&E Power Outages [UPDATE]

The networking equipment that provides customers in the Santa Cruz County area with Wireless and Certified access services has lost power due to PG&E rolling power outages.

We have field technicians ready to cycle power between battery redundancies throughout the day, however there will be customer impacting downtime during these events. We will update this network status message with new information as we receive it.

This will not affect customers with DSL and Velocity access services.

Affected areas:

Midtown Santa Cruz and Live Oak: Cruzio Infrastructure teams are managing power to keep service interruptions to a minimum This area should remain up with minimal interruptions as we switch between redundant power sources.

Harvey West: Cruzio Infrastructure teams are managing power to keep service interruptions to a minimum This area should remain up with minimal interruptions as we switch between redundant power sources.
